ABOUT SEMAIS

Delivering value-aligned service to government missions

SEMAIS builds strategic blueprints that secure, modernize, and strengthen the technology government and defense agencies rely on.
Leadership

Founded and led by a Navy veteran

SEMAIS was established in 2014 by CEO Dewayne Hart, who served 20 years in the U.S. Navy as a Fire Controlman. That career — spanning combat systems operation, system testing, and shipboard training — is the foundation of how SEMAIS works today.

It’s why the company can speak the language of both a contracting officer and a combat systems technician, and why agencies trust SEMAIS with the systems that matter most.

Who We Are

An organization built on trust and mission focus

SEMAIS was founded on a simple premise:government missions deserve security partners who have lived the mission. As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, we pair that perspective with the certifications and government track record agencies require. Trust is earned in delivery, and we build it on every engagement.

Our Values
Customer-centric and future-focused. Our background in technology and government service shapes every engagement.
Our Commitment

We stay connected, resourceful, and aligned with our customers’ missions — from kickoff through delivery.

Our Brand

An innovative partner committed to building trust through secure, future-proof solutions.

How We Work

From current-state analysis to implementation

A disciplined three-stage method that moves agencies from risk exposure to a secured, modern operating state. We start by establishing a clear baseline of current systems, controls, and gaps, then design and implement the safeguards that close them. Throughout, we keep the work tied to mission objectives so security strengthens operations rather than slowing them.
Current-State Analysis
We assess security across all platforms and review compliance against FISMA, FedRAMP, and RMF ATO requirements to establish a clear baseline.
Future State & Roadmap
We define the target security state, technical architecture, and a prioritized gap analysis between where you are and where you need to be.
Implementation
We execute the roadmap — readiness specifications, modernization, and remediation — against clear government requirements.

Work with a partner who knows the mission

Three decades of government experience, a veteran’s perspective, and the certifications to back it up. SEMAIS pairs hands-on delivery with leadership that has operated inside the agencies we serve, so guidance is grounded in how government actually works. That combination lets us move quickly while keeping every engagement aligned to compliance and mission.
